Not as simple as it seems — what color is white?

A simple two-line cross dividing a white canvas into four equal quadrants, with the lower-left quadrant showing a subtle light lavender tint.

What color is white? At first, it seems simple — even a child can spot it. But we know that the real-world answer isn’t so easy. Each box above is white, yet each differs from the others.

New Pure White Color

For years, we’ve offered a Pure White color, but now we’re making a change.

Over time, a number of you told us that our Pure White had some blue undertones, making it feel cooler than a true white. We listened to what you were saying and considered other options.

We now have a white that we think will better match what you — and your customers — expect when they specify Pure White. The updated color is here and in production. We’re confident you’ll appreciate the difference.

And as for our former color — if you need some to match an existing project or for repairs, we can still provide it.

As always, if something isn’t working the way it should, we want to know. Your feedback is what keeps us moving in the right direction — so keep it coming.
