A Unique Modern Metal Roof Panel with Striking Visuals
Buckeye specially designed this exposed-fastener roofing panel for contractors and homeowners who prefer a sleek, modern look. Our Buckeye Wave has the same dimensions as our standard panel, but with 4 ribs instead of the 5 found on standard panels, ribs are further apart. They are also more square. Together, the spacing and shape of the ribs look more like standing seam.
We call this the Wave because of the striations (waves) between the ribs. These striations help reduce the visibility of oil-canning, a cosmetic blemish that sometimes appears in flat metal panels.
These panels do need a sturdier surface underneath than standard panels. While they are strong and can handle similar snow loads, they may not work as well where roof decks are not smooth (such as over a shingled roof) because they flex more than some other panels.
