A look at the (new) shop floor
Since June, our new building has been up and running. If you saw our June email, you had a chance to go on a drone tour of the building. (We were excited at how popular that video seemed to be. If you missed it, you can click here to watch it.)
Since you’ve seen the building itself, we wanted to let you know about the equipment we’ve stocked that building with. After all, it was never just about building a bigger barn!
You may have heard us say this before, but the reason for the new building is because we knew that as we grew, we needed to have equipment that could keep up our level of service. On top of that, we’ve picked equipment that will improve our efficiency and give you the best quality.
To keep up with the Quick Turnarounds you’ve come to expect, we have added 1 new Variobend trim brake, 3 new trim rollformers, and 1 additional panel rollformer.
1 Double Trim Brake…
There are machines, and then there are machines! The Variobend Double Folder you saw at the top of this email is at the top of the line in the industry.
With its ability to automatically bend, flip, and bend again, it saves a lot of time and keeps our accuracy high.
(And those LED lights you see in the video? They’re just an awesome extra touch!)
3 Trim Rollformers…
The core pieces of our new equipment are 3 new machines to keep the trim rolling, giving us consistent, efficient results.
One of them does 3 profiles, the second does 4, and the third cranks out F & J Channel as quickly as we need it.
Profiles: Eave Trim, Z Flashing, Snow Guard, Fascia, Sidewall, Endwall, 16” Ridge Cap, F & J Channel

1 Standard Panel Former…
Lastly, there’s new machine #5, a panel rollformer. In making a decision as to what to purchase, we chose to get a 2nd standard panel former instead of adding a new profile.
Why? Because that will help us keep turning out the panels you need the most.
In addition, this new machine will enhance the quality of our panels. It’s made by ASC, a brand known for its durability and flexibility.

Let’s get rolling—together
It’s been over a year in the making, but we are primed and ready to go. After 2 months of operation, we’ve streamlined these new machines. Are you ready to roll? Let’s go!
