Ten Quick Questions About Aristolath
1. What is Aristolath? It’s a product we developed to make the classic look of wooden board-and-batten easy to achieve with metal. It’s the only board-and-batten made regionally that has the battens separate from the boards.
2. What’s so special about Aristolath? Keep the clean lines and timeless look of wooden board-and-batten without the constant maintenance. Durable, distinctive, and (though it isn’t likely) easy to repair.
3. How durable is Aristolath? It’s tough stuff! Under those beautiful colors is 26-gauge galvanized steel, meant to resist dents and harsh weather. Boards and battens are finished with CERAM-A-STAR 1050, an industry-leading coating that’s been rigorously tested in the intense sun and humidity of Florida.
4. How is it attached? The panels are overlapped, then secured with a screw-on strip. Battens snap onto the strips to hide the seams and hardware.
5. What are its dimensions? Standard panels cover 15 1/2″. Battens are 1″ high by 2 1/2″ wide.

6. Can I request custom widths? For an extra fee, we can customize the boards but not the battens. We’re careful about the ratio between the two–too much change in proportion will take away from the beauty.
7. What are my color options? We have colors from black to white, with over 20 colors in between. Nearly all are available as a standard finish. Several can be ordered in a special “crinkle” style. Order boards and battens in the same color, or pick two colors for a vibrant look.
8. Can it be rolled on site? Absolutely! We can roll it on site to within 1/8″ of specifications. No waste, no shipping, no scratches.
9. Is it hard to replace a damaged panel? Not at all! It’s simple: we just pop off two battens, unscrew the damaged panel, and put a new one in. After that, we snap the battens back in place.
10. What’s your guarantee? Aristolath panels come with a 40-year paint warranty, 10 years for edge rust.

Special Note about October 10-12!
To keep you rolling, we’re going to be moving and arranging our roll former in early October.
This won’t affect our trim line, but there will be some lags in panel-forming. So if you have a job approaching, get your order in so we can have your panels ready before we reboot.
