Buckeye’s Take-off Service

Because your time is precious, we're always looking for innovative ways to efficiently serve our contractors better. We're excited to say we can now offer product estimates based off aerial images.

You know we supply and deliver panels to your job site. But do you know about our take-off service?

With just an address, we can provide you with the detailed materials list that you will need to complete a project.

An address is all we need

Time is precious, and it is best spent in sales or production. With our take-off service, we can save your time by taking roof measurements and developing a materials list. Just provide us with the work location, and we will provide you with a take-off report–for free. If the initial numbers (which are nearly precise) work for you, we will field-verify the report and create an exact quote. (By the way, we’re also happy to provide this service to homeowners.)

Here’s how it works:

Step 1

Send us an address and tell us which building (house, barn, garage, etc.) that your project involves. That’s all we need to get started.

Step 2

We will run a no-cost-to-you Eagle View report. Eagle View provides detailed aerial imagery—so detailed that we can use the pictures to measure a roof and create a product estimate. The Eagle View take-off report will be close to the final dollar amount.

Note: Eagle View reports might be adequate for estimating asphalt roofs, but they aren’t precise enough for metal roofs. They tell us how much material we need, but not how long each piece should be.

Step 3

If the take-off report aligns with your goals, our next step is to field-verify the numbers. We will send someone out to get on the roof and take precise measurements for a detailed materials list.

We do charge for this–about 5-7% of the materials cost. But you will receive a detailed product list, as well as a schematic for where each piece belongs. Plus, we stand behind these reports. If you come up short during installation, we will make sure you have what you need at no extra cost.

Step 4

You schedule the job and get started. Without you even visiting a site, we can measure, manufacture, and deliver everything you need to do the job right.
