Why Choose Buckeye Metal Sales?

Have you dealt with companies that only deliver once a week? Places where if you miss a day, you miss a whole week? Have you ever felt that you were just a number in a big company’s book? At Buckeye, we don’t just sell metal, we prioritize relationships and efficient service. Our metal is tough, but our service is warm and friendly.

We have multiple rollformers in our shop, giving us the capacity to supply many projects a day. And, by keeping a substantial coil inventory, we aren’t waiting on deliveries, so you won’t be waiting on supplies. We also have mobile rollformers to create standing seam panels on your location, minimizing waste and material handling.

Like our contractors, we’ve spent many hours in the field, so we know how important a steady supply of materials is. If you’re looking for premium metal, quick turnaround, and personable service, you’ll find it here at Buckeye.

Dayton, Ohio, was founded in 1796 by settlers in the Miami Valley and named after Jonathan Dayton, a Revolutionary War veteran and signer of the U.S. Constitution. The city grew significantly in the 19th century due to infrastructure developments like canals, railroads, and telegraphs, becoming a manufacturing hub by the Civil War era.

Dayton is renowned for its history of innovation, being home to the Wright brothers and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar, as well as industries producing cash registers, bicycles, and refrigerators. A defining moment in its history was the catastrophic 1913 flood, which reshaped the city’s governance and infrastructure. Like many Rust Belt cities, Dayton faced challenges of deindustrialization and racial tensions in the mid-20th century, leading to population decline and urban renewal efforts. Today, Dayton’s economy has shifted toward education and healthcare (“eds and meds”) while maintaining its legacy of innovation and its rich cultural heritage.
